OUR SETTING
45 Amelia St. Hamilton
Designed by architect Jerome Markson as his first residential commission after graduation, The Markson House is a Hamilton classic, and Taylor’s Beautiful Family Home
Making use of the bright lights, big windows, and open space - the back of the house and the front of the house are where I’m banking we’ll get our best individual, family, and group shots. We’re also going to be taking some time to showcase the Clem family’s awesome new indoor renovations (which will be highlighted beautifully with all the stunning natural light that comes in)!
If these walls are still going to be there they’d make beautiful backgrounds for some portraits :)
I’ll have to scout out the location a bit once I get there to find the perfect spots, but I love the idea of having some group shots in the middle of the tree lined road, and having a couple shots of you two both in front of the green foliage, as well as in front of that iconic red door! :)
Looking for more intimate places away where the first-look can take place as well as some separate couple + family portraits, from what I can see, I think monopolizing on all this beautiful greenery could be a great plan of action before guests arrive.
If you’re comfortable we can venture out to The Bruce Trail, which doesn’t seem to be too far for a couple epic shots, or, if you’d rather stay a bit closer outside of the house could be fantastic for some quick street shots of the Bride + Groom (plus bridal party/family).
(This was just what I could see off of Google if there are other great spots that are slightly away, or in their own space so that you two can have a couple private moments do let me know)
INSPO WEDDING SHOTS
These shots below are some samples as to what we’re going to be going for. The aim of the game is going to be capturing all the natural love, warmth, happiness exactly how it is. Minimal posing (unless you want more), all the laughing, and so much loving.
As always, these are just suggestions, feel free to add in any other shots you like, things you want to note, stuff we should jot down. :)
